A Jackson, Mississippi entrepreneur with a New Orleans background, John Hoyt Williams has more than two decades of investment management and retirement planning experience and is the owner of a money-management firm based in Madison. Family is a central facet of Hoyt Williams’ life, and he coached his son John in soccer from the age of six. Without first-hand knowledge of the sport, he delved into the playbook and strategy, and found ways of helping his son master the fundamentals of the sport and lead his team to victory.

Throughout Mr. Williams’ life, the outdoors has served as a primary source of inspiration, and he has traveled by RV to explore scenic areas across the country. Along with his family he has taken in sights such as Bryce Canyon, Mount Rainier, Channel Islands National Park, and the Florida Everglades. Also an avid football fan, he is a supporter of the New Orleans Saints and regularly travels from Jackson to Oxford, Mississippi, to attend home games of the Ole Miss Rebels.

For the past dozen years, another central aspect of John Hoyt Williams’ life has been Christ United Methodist Church activities. Having first attended an Emmaus Walk in 1998, he subsequently led groups of men in such walks and also participated in Promise Keepers events nationwide.
